The park is located along the Gold Belt Tour with lots to do around the park. Cripple Creek and Victor are thirty minutes south. Each town has a rich mining history and Cripple Creek has casinos.

Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is close by as well. Biking: 19 miles of trails of multi-use trails for mountain biking. Camping: Yes, open year-round, sites, 3 cabins. There are both RV sites with electric and walk-in tent sites, all complete with a table, tent pad, and fire pit. Sites are reservable from mid-May to mid-October. All the campgrounds are located in a beautiful mountain forest. Hiking: 55 miles of trails exist in the park.

They range from short, easy strolls to longer, more challenging hikes. Horseback Riding: 19 miles of trails. No camping with horses, only day trips. Not permitted in picnic areas, campgrounds, or paved roads. Horse trailer parking. We have various Art in the Park and other fundraisers throughout the year, request memberships and donations, and utilize grant opportunities to support Park programs. Funds raised go directly to Mueller State Park.

For all cabins, yurts, and tipis: Your access code will be on your confirmation letter and you must have it in order to enter your cabin, yurt, or tipi.

Park staff may not be available to assist you when you arrive on the park, so be sure to have this code with you. If your pass is on sage green or bright orange paper with a handwritten expiration date it, you must exchange your pass for one issued through the system at any CPW location prior to making the reservation in order to receive your discount.

Exceptions to our refund policy are not offered as a result of these efforts. Mueller is Black Bear country. Some sites will not accommodate tents. All vehicles must have a valid parks pass in order to access the park. Daily vehicle parks passes may be purchased upon arrival at the park. Camping reservations do NOT include entrance fees. Quiet hours pm - am are strictly enforced.

Collecting dead and down firewood is permitted. Capacity - campsites each with picnic table and fire ring. Restrictions : Pets are prohibited on trails or in the backcountry.
